This first was for a young couple just starting up in their first home together, so it’s called ‘New Beginnings’. I had a brief which included flowers, and anything relevant to – well – new beginnings! This is one of my collages with acrylic paint, lots of stamping and stencilling. I’ve used light moulding paste pushed through a rose stencil for the roses at the bottom of the painting. And the black circular-like blobs on the right are dried acrylic paint, over painted with black.
